Christer Danielsson

Experience

A lawyer for 25 years, Christer´s focus has been primarily on M&A and dispute resolution. While at leading transactional firm Gernandt & Danielsson (1992-2006) he advised on numerous mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, including as lead counsel in a series of transactions creating what is today the Nordea banking group. Christer continues to provide advice in relation to primarily private M&A and joint ventures but in recent years most of his business has been related to dispute resolution, as counsel and as arbitrator. 2015: “Christer Danielsson of Frank Advokatbyrå AB is a prominent arbitrator in Stockholm who often presides over large disputes involving non-Swedish parties. He is chairman of the Swedish Arbitration Association and is highly regarded in Europe.”

2014: ”Sources recognize Christer Danielsson of Frank Advokatbyrå AB as one of the top choices in Sweden to sit as arbitrator on significant disputes, as he is ’easy to work with, efficient and has a keen eye for detail”.

Christer is president of the Swedish Bar association (since 1 July 2017).
